A Special Thanks to the Larkin Family and Featherstone Pottery

So, this was my first experience firing a wood-fired kiln. It was really exciting to take part in the firing, but what was more memorable is the kindness of the Larkin family. We've all heard of Minnesota nice, but few have experienced Larkin nice, which takes Minnesota nice to a whole new level.

They started firing the kiln on Friday afternoon, and I stayed until the bitter end - Sunday morning at 2 AM.

Here are the cups I had in the firing. I love them.

Thank you Tom and Claire Larkin for inviting me. I hope to see you next year.
